Magic date 05 05 05

Is it coincidence that many couples marry on 5th May of 2005? Maybe not. But if some brides or grooms think that they just marry because it is this magic number for their special day, I don't suppose their marriage will have a long durability.

I'd admit, I just wrote this entry because I wanted an entry for the blog on today's date. Does that mean that this entry is not going to last for long or this entry is just a waste of time to read because it is just written to be written? That is something I will let open for your imagination

However, the 5th of May is Japan's kodomo no hi. (Day of the child) Whether it's http://www.hinamatsuri-kodomonohi.com/ or http://allabout.co.jp/special/childrensday/ or http://japanese.about.com/library/weekly/aa050297.htm (English), it is a special day for boys. Just type in Kodomo no hi in google and you will be surprised how well explained it is already that all I have to do is leaning back and letting you read for yourself.

We have been in Japan's nationwide Golden Week lately, when the Japanese people are out there to visit their family back at home or go abroad to have their vacation. Most hard working women or men only have this one week to go on vacation. Is that true? Well I'll better ask for further details. Fact is, that Vienna is more crowded than ever with friendly Japanese faces. Don't actually know, if Viennese merchants know about the Golden Week... be prepared for the crowd, shopkeeper. No time to run away anymore. お疲れさま! And those working in the tourism industry in Japan or abroad during the Golden Week, 頑張って! (Keep it up!)
